The fastest way is to add your website to Google Search Console. Learn how to do it step by step.

Have you built a website? Have you connected your domain? Your website doesn’t appear in Google Search yet?

To make sure your website is not found in the search engine, type into it: "site:type-your-domain-here". It it is not found, it has not been visited by Google yet. There is a chance, however, that it has … but the website was not considered valuable.

How can this be changed?

This is a good moment to go through every step of our post with tips on How to optimize your website for search engines. It is worth ensuring that the website is adapted to the search engine BEFORE being added to it. A few simple steps will ensure that your website is prioritised by search engines once they visit them. Google does not index sites just because they exist but takes into account several factors; for example, low quality content may delay indexation or the search engine may ignore the website completely..

Firstly, make sure that the content of your website is valuable. Secondly, consider several website settings to optimize your websites for search engines.

Website indexation can be easier with the use of links from social media or other external services which direct users to your website.

Once you have optimized the website, the fastest way to add it to Google is with the use of the Google Search Console. Google enables monitoring the traffic from search engine results, queries that resulted in a display of your website, CTR and many other interesting statistics related to your websites.

To access Search Console you need to log into it using your Google account.

Google Search Console will enable you to add your website and its sitemap. The site map makes it possible for Google to find all the pages of your website.

How to add a website to Search Console?

Go to Google Search Console. Log in using your Google account.

Click ‘Add a property’. Select the type of property ‘URL prefix property.’ Enter your domain.
